FIELD: projection of TV images. SUBSTANCE: projector has fiber-optic plate each of whose light conductors incorporates focusing components functioning as condensers. Light emitted from screen passes via focon and two gates to deflecting component which is essentially part of Fresnel lens. Emitted light is deflected to entrance puril of projecting lens. Light conductor sheath may be nontransparent to eliminate conductor-to-conductor coupling. Such arrangement makes it possible to isolate each picture dot shaped by separate light conductor from influence of adjacent ones. Concentration of emitted light by focusing components improves optical power efficiency of projector. Any desired quantity of focusing components may be used and their design features are of no significance.
