FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reclamation and may be used both in sprinkling and drying of agricultural lands. Vacuum drainage system consists of drains 1, header 2, at which in drainage manhole 8 there is holding tank 3 with siphon 4 and charging tube 5. Siphon 4 comprises air branch pipe 6 with body 7 accommodating double-valve shut-off device made up of two cones 9 and 10 arranged in upper and lower parts of housing 7 and connected to each other with rod 12. Cone 10 is made in the form of cone with sharp vertex, and cone 9, on the contrary, in the form of cone with blunt vertex. Cone 9 is connected via rod 11 with hinged-lever drive made up from levers 13 and 14 with float 15 that moves between limit rings 16 and 17. After tank 3 and siphon 4 the flow runs over water measuring baffle 18.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of the vacuum drainage system in automatic mode and, consequently, reduced risk of lifting of ground waters and development of secondary salinization lands.
