FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used to determine the irrigated, thawed and sprinkling waters infiltration. Lysimeter includes a container with a soil monolith and a bottom-filter. In the soil a humidity sensor is located. Bottom-filter is made of a geotextile material laid on a mesh above the tray. Tray is hydraulically communicated with a vertically installed container, which is divided by a partition into a measuring container and a drainage well. In the middle part of the partition a covered with a shield opening is made. Shield is equipped with a siphon to discharge water. Descending branch of the siphon is brought into the drainage well. Elbow of the siphon is fixed inside the opening in the shield. Shield is configured to be vertically movable relative to the opening in the partition. In the measuring tank, on the ridge the siphon contains an air branch pipe with a body. In the body a two-valve closure device in the form of two cones is made. Cones are located in the upper and lower parts of the body and are connected to each other by a rod. Cones are connected by a swivel drive with a float.

EFFECT: providing the lysimeter operation efficiency in automatic mode, increasing the irrigation calculating accuracy and expanding the scope of application for water metering during irrigation or sprinkling.
