FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: device for cleaning waters of water areas of bays and gulfs includes unit of one or more bent pipelines connected to each other with lateral sides and mounted in one unit, which is fixed on way of flow of coastal currents to change direction of part of water flows, increase their speed and introduce these flows into water area of bays and gulfs. Each pipeline is bent at angle from 45° to 170° with curvilinear helical surface along internal perimeter in form of pockets and made up of aligned and rigidly interconnected four hollow screw drums: conical drum-receiving section, two straight drums-straight sections between which is rigidly fitted hollow sector with bending angle of 30-180°. Conical drum is made of at least three trapezoidal strips with different width with length of receiving part, twisted in vertical plane in lengthwise direction relative to strip figure axis and bent in helical line on conical mandrel in transverse direction. Straight drums are made from one strip bent along straight lines arranged at angle to strip edges. Strip is coiled to cylindrical turns to make helical lines and surfaces of curved shape in form of pockets of inner surface of semicircular shape, which along perimeter can differ not only in shape but in sizes. Distance between flexure lines equal the sum of perimeters of pockets of inner and outer surfaces. Sector is made from strip to make different-size quadrangles with two parallel sides in form of bend lines arranged on strip at equal distances from each other and parallel to each other. Strip is coiled into ring-subsection along perimeter of which there are pockets of curvilinear shape. Subsections are connected to each other by free sides of quadrangles in form of hollow sector with formation along outer and inner surfaces directed in one direction at acute angle to axis of hollow sector of helical lines and inner surfaces in form of pockets, which along perimeter can differ not only in shape but in sizes. Distance between flexure lines equal the sum of perimeters of pockets of inner and outer surfaces.
