FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and is intended for operation in centrifugal pump unit in order to prevent ingress of mechanical impurities contained in formation fluid. Device includes filter element in form of truncated cone secured to cover annular gap between hollow housing and concentric casing with inlet and outlet holes on side surface. Hollow housing comprises top and bottom flanges, splined shaft inside housing. Cover on side of inlet holes is fixed to housing in area of lower flange. On side surface of hollow housing in area of top flange there are windows. Cover is tightly connected with hollow body in area of top flange. Filter element of top truncated cone is attached to hollow housing in area of inlet holes on cover, and base - to cover in interval between outlets and tight joint of cover with housing.
EFFECT: higher carrying capacity, reduced hydraulic resistance to movement of treated medium flow and pump motor load.
