FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of removing N2O and NOx from exhaust gases. Section deNOx is carried out after section deN2O at temperature at inlet ≤ 400°C, initial gas for section deN2O contains water and has selected ratio N2O/NOx. Working parameters: temperature, pressure and volume rate in section deN2O are selected so that to obtain decomposition of N2O from 80 to 98%. In these conditions of next section deNOx can work in optimal mode. Device contains device (2) of regulation of water content in gas (1) containing NOx and N2O; section deN2O (3) for reducing content of N2O in gas flow containing filled with iron zeolite catalyst; cooling device (4) for cooling gas flow (5), leaving section deN2O; a section deNOx (6) containing SCR-catalyst, to reduce content of NOx in gas stream, and supply line (7) to feed reducing agent NOx in gas flow (5) outgoing from section deN2O.

EFFECT: technical result is efficient removal of N2O and NOx from gases.
