FIELD: production of poly-metallic catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: Fe is introduced into proposed catalyst by isomorphic substitution into zeolite lattice by hydro-thermal synthesis; then, zeolite is calcined and is transformed into H-form, after which Cu and /or Co is introduced by ion exchange in liquid or solid phase before calcination and activation of specimen at high temperature or by water steam and alkaline treatment. Zeolite has mole ratio Si/T 20-80, where T=Al, Ga, B or Ti. Method of decomposition or reduction of nitrous oxide in waste gases at temperature below 650 K with the use of obtained zeolite. Catalyst produced by this method possesses high conversion of N2O at temperature <623 K and enhanced stability.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and stability of catalyst.
