SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heat-insulating material which is prepared from a mixture of at least the following components, which are: foam water based airgel particles are silica, at least one binder selected from an organic binder and inorganic binder, at least one salt of a cationic surface-active compound and at least one salt of an anionic surface-active compound.
EFFECT: technical result - providing thermal insulation characteristics while maintaining good mechanical properties, in particular with respect to resistance to compression and deformability and low density to facilitate loading, the possibility of making any desired shapes, in particular by molding.
