FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articles in form of fibre, tape or filament made from a polyethylene composition which includes a copolymer of ethylene and 1-hexene obtained by polymerisation in presence of a metallocene catalyst system in a gaseous medium. Molar ratio of hexene/ethylene in copolymer of ethylene and 1-hexene assumes following values: 0.0015, 0.0022, 0.0029 and 0.0045.
EFFECT: fibres, tapes or filaments according to invention exhibit improved tensile properties, expressed as a balance between tenacity and elongation at break, and well suited for manufacture of articles such as artificial grass, woven and nonwoven fabrics, ropes, cordages, articles for making nets and flexible intermediate bulk containers.
