SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of treating waste gases, which is a part of integrated method of producing melamine and urea, as well as to integrated device for producing urea and melamine. Method of using exhaust gases is characterised by that exhaust gases coming out of reactor for melamine synthesis are fed into rinse section, washed gases are transmitted via pipeline to plant for producing urea, whereupon washed gases are mixed with solution of carbamate downstream of rinse section by feeding carbamate solution in the pipeline, the volume ratio of gases and carbamate solution supplied in pipeline varies from 2:1 to 10:1, at which two-phase mixture of gases and carbamate solution is produced inside pipeline.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced corrosion of pipeline.
