FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly optimised shape window cutouts for aircraft (AC). AC fuselage comprises cylindrical compartment with skin formed from composite material with reinforcing fibres, inserted into matrix, and first notch and second notch. Straight path of loading essentially passes continuously from lower part of cylindrical compartment mainly under first notch to upper part of cylindrical compartment mainly above second notch. First and second notches, each, have rhomb shaped form, including side segment oriented mainly parallel to straight path of loading. Part of fibres is oriented mainly parallel to side segment and extends from position below lower end of first notch to position above upper end of second notch.
EFFECT: improved loading path between window cutouts in area of side fuselage skin, and optimisation of skin thickness in areas adjoining window cutouts is achieved.
