SUBSTANCE: fuselage comprises a composite cover comprising a top and bottom composite cover sections, a window zone with a composite cover comprising a window opening in the composite cover and a longitudinal butt joint along the window zone connecting the upper and lower cover sections to each other. Moreover, the edges of the upper and lower covers are joined to each other along and within the window zone during the fuselage barrel assembly production work.
EFFECT: increased strength and rigidity of the structure, reduced weight, manufacturing time.
