FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing element (1) to seal gap (5) between two structural elements (2a, 2b), in particular to sealing system (2c) of gas turbine plant. Element passes along main line (21) and has shaped cross-section in corrugated middle zone (10). In cross-section sealing element (1) is directed along main line (21) and has possibility of deformation in direction substantially perpendicular to main line (21). Corrugation sealing teeth (20) have rectangular cross section, and height (H) of its teeth is between 10 % and 40 % of measured parallel to teeth height (H) of sealing element thickness (D).
EFFECT: provides development of resistant to wear, having long service life sealing element (1) with especially effective locking action.
