FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: sealing assembly for turbine plant comprises an arched or circular plate, seal ring, arched teeth and displacing element. Plate has T-shaped cross section, is connected to inner surface of fixed housing of turbine plant and is located in radial plane. Seal ring is located between rotor of turbine plant and plate to be coupled with plate to form a gap in radial direction. Arched teeth are located on seal ring. Gap of one of teeth differs from gaps of other teeth. Gaps of arched teeth do not increase gradually from inlet side to outlet side of turbine plant. Gaps of arched teeth provide passive feedback in hydrostatic forces generated by pressure drop in packing unit, so that at reduction of radial gap directed outward radial forces cause displacement of sealing ring from rotor, and upon increase of said gap directed inside radial forces cause displacement of sealing ring in direction towards rotor. Displacing element is located between arched or circular plate and sealing ring and is connected thereto. In another version of sealing assembly arched teeth contain a subgroup of teeth, wherein gaps of arched teeth of said subgroup, does not increase gradually from inlet side to outlet side of turbine plant. One more invention relates to turbine plant comprising said sealing assembly.

EFFECT: group of inventions reduces leakage flow in transient operating modes of turbine plant both between sealing assembly and rotor, and between sealing assembly and stator.
