FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a household appliance with a sensor control and indication device, which comprises an indicator unit for display of user information and a transparent carrier on which there is located a capacitive electrode-sensor as a part of the sensor capacitor, arranged with imposition on the indicator unit and the sensor reacting surface of the control and display device, wherein the electrode-sensor is made of transparent and electroconductive lacquer and/or adhesive, containing carbon nanotubes.
EFFECT: according to the second aspect of the invention, the electrode-sensor passes at least along the prevailing part of the indicator unit range, and the control and display device includes a power supply to apply voltage to the electrode-sensor, means for removal of electric current in at least two places of the electrode-sensor elbow and a computing device, determining, depending on the tapped off currents, the point of contact, where the user touches the reacting surface.
