FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to method of producing ferromagnetic liquid with magnetic nano particles with average size of 7.3-8.8 nm and narrow distribution by size. Method of producing ferromagnetic liquid involves dissolving Mohr salt and ferrous ammonium sulfates, filtering obtained solution at drop-by mixing it with ammonia solution at continuous intense stirring, separating formed suspension into solid and liquid phases, multiple magnetic washing of precipitate to pH 7, processing of solid phase stabilizer solution, which is solution of mannitol, settling of magnetic liquid, separation of liquid and solid phases by means of magnet.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is higher specific saturation of magnetisation, nearly 69-73 Gs·cm3/g, high stability for long period of time.
