SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of sedaxan (SDX) for increasing the number of tubercules on plant roots compared with the number of tubercules on roots raw control plants by using the above SDX to a plant, and/or its location, and/or material for propagation of plants, and then growing said plants or material for propagation. In a specific embodiment, the above plant is a soya and said material for propagation represents seeds.
