SUBSTANCE: plant growth intensification is realised by processing of plant seeds or a plant, which germinates from the seeds, with an effective quantity of at least one chitooligosaccharide (CO), presented by formula: in which R1 stands for hydrogen or methyl; R2 stands for hydrogen or methyl; R3 stands for hydrogen, acetyl or carbamoyl; R4 stands for hydrogen, acetyl or carbamoyl; R5 stands for hydrogen, acetyl or carbomoyl; R6 stands for hydrogen, arabinosyl, fucosyl, sulphate, 3-0-S-2-0-MeFuc, 2-0-MeFuc or 4-0-AcFuc; R7 stands for hydrogen, mannosyl or glycerin; R8 stands for hydrogen, methyl or -CH2OH; R9 stands for hydrogen, arabinosyl or fucosyl; R10 stands for hydrogen, acetyl or fucosyl; and n is equal 0, 1, 2 or 3.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the plants yield.
