SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and veterinary science and can be used for increasing reproductive activity male individuals (males). Method involves oral course introduction to animals of melanin with water-solubility of not less than 80% and concentration of paramagnetic centres of not less than 8×1017 spin/g dissolved in distilled water in effective concentration. Melanin water is drunk by animals for 8-10 days prior to coupling and during mating.
EFFECT: method enables improving reproductive activity of intact mice males and recovering reproductive activity of males, reduced by ionising radiation.
