FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drives of traction ropes. Drive belt has a closed-loop shape and consists of core, inner and outer linings. Inner lining is made of antifriction material and has a flat surface in free state, and the outer lining is made from friction material and has a concave surface in free state. Radius of curvature of cross section of concave surface of outer lining in free State Rl corresponds to the inequality Rc<Rl<Rp, where Rc - pulling cable radius, Rp - radius of the drive pulley cross section curvature. Inner and outer linings have variable width as for the belt thickness. Cable belt drive includes a closed-loop drive belt consisting of core, internal plates with flat surface in free state, outer lining with concave surface in free state, and enclosing the drive, deflecting and tension pulleys, stationary guide, and in contact with pull rope. Drive pulley has convex shape of cross section of surface in contact with outer lining of drive belt, the radius of curvature of cross section of the drive pulley exceeds radius of curvature of cross section of concave surface of outer lining in free state.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of drive.
