FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inks for jet printing. Inks include pigment in an aqueous dispersion medium. Pigment contains particles of metal oxide or mixed metal oxide and multiple reacted molecules of dispersant, bonded to external surfaces of particles to form a coating thereon. Reacted molecules of dispersant are bonded to external surfaces of metal oxide particles or mixed metal oxide through silanol binding group thereof. Quantitative content of coating ranges from approximately 10 wt% to approximately 50 wt% with respect to wt% of particles of metal oxide or mixed metal oxide.

EFFECT: disclosed inks prevent agglomeration of particles of pigment, formation of dense sediment during precipitation and are capable to re-dispersion using simple shaking, which enables to use in ink for jet printing large and heavy metal oxide particles.
