The method for ink-jet printing for manufacture of decorative panels includes obtaining a paper substrate coated with one or more ink-receiving layers, applying a color image using one or more water-based pigment printing inks from a set onto a paper substrate, drying the ink-jet printed color image. A set includes a turquoise ink containing copper phthalocyanine pigment; a red ink containing a red pigment selected from the group comprised of red pigments according to the color index C. I. Pigment Red 254, C. I. Pigment Red 176 and mixed crystals thereof; a yellow ink containing a yellow pigment according to the color index C. I. Pigment Yellow 150 or a mixed crystal thereof; and a black ink containing a carbon black pigment. The described ink contains a surface-active agent. Also proposed is a method of manufacturing decorative panels.

EFFECT: inventions allow providing correct reproduction of wood coloring on decorative panels under various lighting.
