FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural microbiology, particularly to biological control of unwanted (weed) vegetation by plant pathogenic fungi. Fungus strain Phoma ligulicola var. inoxydabilis Boerema, having high mico herbicide activity with respect to common wormwood, deposited in State collection of FGBNU VNII protection of plants under registration number VIZR 1.43 and can be used for control of common wormwood and related species of this plant.
