FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely, to production of refractory articles for high-temperature heat insulation with improved physical and technical properties by high-speed energy-efficient method. Composition for making heat-insulation articles containing fire clay, millet grains and water and having 40-50 % humidity is poured into a rigid tight mould and subjected to electric heating to a temperature of 55 °C. After the mold removal the adobe is dried and annealed at 1,300 °C.
EFFECT: higher mechanical strength of the adobe.
