FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied to mechanical devices implementing discrete laws of motion in continuous motion of driver. Wave gear of discrete motion consists of flexible wheel, wave generator located inside therein, and rigid wheel, consisting of four quadrants of two pairs, which are identical and diametrically opposed. One pair of toothed sectors forms wave gear with flexible wheel, while another pair of sectors forms wave coupling. In local areas relative to boundary lines between sectors of rigid wheel, its teeth have system of variable geometry slots, arranged in hollows between teeth. Sizes of angular boundaries φ0i and φ0j of local regions of slot system relative to boundary lines between sectors of rigid wheel, and variable geometrical parameters of slots are defined by law of side clearances distribution of teeth, in wave gear and in wave coupling respectively, by material of teeth of rigid wheel, and design force on tooth of rigid wheel.
EFFECT: notable reduction of dynamic loads in zones of re-engagement of flexible wheel teeth, at boundaries of sectors of rigid wheel, as well as increased durability of transmission.
