FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves milling and fractioning of beet-root press cake, steaming in 45-50°C tap water during 5-10 minutes, gradual controlled heating to 60-65°C, addition of oxalic acid till the pH value is equal to 3.3-3.5, controlled gradual heating to 70-75°C, maintenance at the achieved temperature during 25-35 minutes, squeezing, washing with subsequent squeezing, squeezed pulp washing in tap water with subsequent squeezing and convective IR drying. Whenever required, the ready dry product is subjected to an additional stage of grinding.

EFFECT: method is environmentally friendly, efficient, scalable and high-performance and allows to maximally preserve initial condition of biologically active useful substances in the dry product; the obtained product is applied in plant cultivation during preplant treatment of seeds as a neutral inert filler in the composition of a pellety mixture and may be used as an alternative of wood saw dust of solid and soft wood.
