FIELD: metrology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology, particularly to means of evaluating loss of active electric energy. Counter includes two analogue-to-digital converters, four univibrators, three dividers, rectangular pulse generator, timer, a timer-clock, a counter, indicator, reprogrammable memory, a transceiver, a computer, adder accumulator, two temperature sensors, four subtractors, a subtractor unit of units, two memory register, an adder, parameter setting unit, squaring unit transformer negative degree of base of the natural logarithm, three multiplier. In counter is determined active losses of electric energy lost in transformer during time intervals equal to two, three order less than thermal time constant, and released in form of heat. Temperature sensors are intended for determining temperature of transformer and environment. Calculation is carried out with account of continuous thermal heating time, idling losses and short circuit, total losses of active power in nominal mode.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of accuracy, simplified design.
