FIELD: food industry; packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: packaging unit contains multiple products, for example chewing gum pads, tubular package accommodating article and made of a wrapper from flexible material. Wrapper has area of side wall surrounding product and closed on ends by area of end wall. Wrapper has loosening line encircling area located in area of side wall to form holes only in area of side wall. Area of holes can at least be partially removed to create a hole for extraction of products by means of rupture of wrapper along one loosening line. Area of holes is arranged to be aligned with one of articles in a closed packaging unit, and has such size that it has surface area which is slightly larger than cross-section area of one of articles in plane of article, which is generally aligned in parallel to area of holes. Packing unit is designed so that wrapper may be broken along said loosening line by means of extrusion of one of articles from pack through hole to create hole extraction.
EFFECT: easy opening of package and extraction of product.
