FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flexible packing materials absorbing or releasing moisture, for example for packing smoking articles and food products. Packaging material is made so that, when sealed to form an inner volume of the package, the packaging material has an inner surface, facing the inner volume, and an outer surface facing away from the inner volume. Between inner surface and outer surface of package contains moisture control material. Water-permeability in direction from outer surface to moisture-permeable material is less, than moisture permeability in direction from inner surface to humidity control material, to ensure selective transfer of moisture between humidity control material and an inner volume of the sealed stack formed at least partially from said packaging material. Properties of the packaging material and moisture control material can be corrected to control relative humidity inside the sealed inner volume.
EFFECT: invention provides for creation of packaging material capable of releasing and absorbing moisture, as well as containers for consumer goods having packing material, capable of releasing and absorbing moisture in such a way as to enable control of relative humidity in the container.
