SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to polythioesters and compositions for sealing containing polythioesters. Described is a polythioester containing: (a) skeleton containing a structure of formula (1): , where: (i) each R1 is independently selected from C2-10 n-alkylene group, C2-6 branched alkylene group, C6-8 cycloalkylene group, C6-10 alkylcycloalkylene groups, heterocyclic group -[(-CH2-)p-X-]q-(CH2)r-groups and -[(-CH2-)p-X-]q-(CH2)r-groups, in which at least one -CH2- fragment is substituted with a methyl group; (ii) each R2 is independently selected from C2-10 n-alkylene group C2-6 branched alkylene group, C6-8 cycloalkylene group C6-14 alkylcycloalkylene groups, heterocyclic groups and -[(-CH2-)p-X-]q-(CH2)r-groups; (iii) each X is independently selected from O, S and -NR6- group, where R6 is selected from H and methyl group; (iv) m ranges from 1 to 50; (v) n is an integer ranging from 1 to 60; (vi) p is an integer ranging from 2 to 6; (vii) q is an integer ranging from 1 to 5; and (viii) r represents an integer ranging from 2 to 10; and (b) at least two groups per molecule, having formula: , wherein R3, R4 and R5 each independently selected from C1-6 n-alkyl group C1-6 branched alkyl group, substituted C1-6 n-alkyl group and phenyl group. Also described is a sealing composition containing said polythioester, and described is a method of producing said polythioester, involving reaction of thiol-functional polythioster with halogen-silane. Also described is a method of producing a curable composition involving merging polyepoxide and said polythioster. Described is a sealing composition, containing: (A) silyl-functional prepolymer, where silyl-functional prepolymer contains: (a) skeleton containing structure of formula (1): -R1-[-S-(CH2)2-O-[-R2-O-]m-(CH2)2-S-R1]n- (I), where: (i) each R1 is independently selected from C2-10 h-alkylene group, C2-6 branched alkylene group C6-8 cycloalkylene group, C6-10 alkylcycloalkylene groups, heterocyclic group -[(-CH2-)p-X-]q-(CH2)r-groups and -[(-CH2-)p-X-]q-(CH2)r-groups, in which at least one -CH2- fragment is substituted with a methyl group; (ii) each R2 is independently selected from C2-10 n-alkylene group C2-6 branched alkylene group C6-8 cycloalkylene group, C6-14 and alkylcycloalkylene groups, heterocyclic groups and -[(-CH2-)p-X-]q-(CH2)r-groups; (iii) each X is independently selected from O, S and -NR6- group, where R6 is selected from H and methyl group; (iv) m ranges from 1 to 50; (v) n is an integer ranging from 1 to 60; (vi) p is an integer ranging from 2 to 6; (vii) q is an integer ranging from 1 to 5; and (viii) r represents an integer ranging from 2 to 10; and (B) at least two groups per molecule, having formula: , where R3, R4 and R5 each independently selected from C1-6 n-alkyl group, C1-6 branched alkyl group substituted C1-6 n-alkyl group and phenyl group; (b) polyepoxide; and (c) basic oxide.
EFFECT: production of sealing composition having long storage life at normal temperature, which hardens upon reacting with moisture, thereby forming a hardened sealing compound, having good shear strength.
