FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method for producing a cured sealant, to versions of compositions of uncured sealant, as well as to a cured sealant for aerospace applications. A method for producing the cured sealant consists in the fact that the uncured composition of the sealant is deposited on a substrate. The uncured composition is exposed to acnitic radiation. The uncured composition of the sealant contains polythioether having thiol terminal groups, polyene containing polyvinyl ether, and if necessary light-initiator.
EFFECT: invention enables increasing the physical-mechanical properties of the sealant, which is fast-setting and storage-stable.
