SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used in development of hydrocarbon deposits. Disclosed is a method of controlling a hydrocarbon production system, which comprises collecting data of extraction system and performing simulation based on data collected, a fluid model and a fully connected set of equations. Method alco comprises accelerating convergence of solution for simulation by reducing onset of negative mobility of components during simulation. Method then comprises storing control parameters determined for solution for use with extraction system. Also disclosed is a system for controlling production of hydrocarbons and computer-readable data carrier.

EFFECT: technical result is high information value and reliability of results of simulation.
