FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biologically active food additives, and can be used in dairy and confectionary industry. Method for production of biologically active food additive includes soaking of dry pumpkin seeds for 48 hours in silver solution with concentration of 0.15-0.35 mg/l, obtained by means of ioniser “Serebrin”. Then one performs seeds drying in air until complete evaporation of moisture from surface of seeds and their cleaning from peel and films. Then one performs milling into particles sized 2-4 mm, drying in thermostat at temperature of 60 °C for 24 hours and packaging in closed sterile container.
EFFECT: invention allows to manufacture ready high quality product with high output of active component and extended storage life.
