FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used in making grinding bodies intended, in particular, to eliminate defects of lacquer surfaces of vehicles. Grinding body comprises a support material and an abrasive material adhesively applied thereto. Grinding body has an abrasive-free rim that laterally adjoins active region of abrasive material. Abrasive-free edge is formed by an applied material, which smoothes structure of abrasive material.
EFFECT: providing qualitative postprocessing of defects of lacquered surface due to exclusion of penetration of external edges of grinding body.
