FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to obtain welded joints from zirconium alloys by fusion welding with subsequent processing of welded joint zones of products of nuclear reactors. The method includes preparation of the welded edges for welding, fusion welding in vacuum and subsequent cleaning of the welded joint zones in several stages. The initial stripping step is performed with a combination of non-abrasive and abrasive materials, and the final stripping step is performed by finishing with a non-abrasive material using a nylon bristle brush and razor tool until the desired surface roughness is obtained. Next, rolling is carried out with rollers, annealing of the welded joint at a temperature of 580°C for 10 hours, and an oxide film is applied.
EFFECT: increasing the corrosion resistance of products under operating conditions.
