SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of characteristics of human placed on sleeping system, and aims at increasing quality of determination of human qualities of the detector. Method of determining characteristics for use in sleeping system, according to which: pressure of inflatable element in comfortable layer located inside the comfortable layer of test device is set on the initial value of comfort when a person is not located on the test device; a person is located on the test device in the first position; pressure of inflatable element in comfortable layer is measured as the first measured value of comfort, when a person is located on the test device in the first position; difference between the first measured value of comfort and initial value of comfort as Δpressure 1 of comfortable layer is calculated; the first optimum pressure level for inflatable element in comfortable layer using the value of Δpressure 1 of comfortable layer is calculated; and the person get recommendation on supporting element of sleeping system using the calculated first optimum pressure level for inflatable element in comfortable layer and using data of sleep quality measurement.
EFFECT: higher quality of determination of human qualities in sleep.
