SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to domestic refrigerating unit, comprising compressor, evaporator, placed higher along direction of circulation, and evaporator installed below in direction of circulation, series-connected with compressor. Also contains first storage compartment, cooled by evaporator located above in direction of circulation, and second compartment for storage cooled by evaporator located below in direction of circulation, and control unit configured to compressor control in normal mode of cooling based on comparison of temperature. Temperature is measured by temperature sensor in one of compartments for storage with first specified value, and with possibility of switching performed by user, from normal cooling mode to intensive cooling mode. Intensive cooling mode includes one stage of continuous operation of compressor, during which control of operation of compressor is provided by control unit on the basis of comparison of measured temperature to second specified value, which is lower than first specified value, and stage of short-term operation of compressor, during which amount of coolant pumped by compressor between switching on and off is less than volume of liquid coolant, which both evaporators are able to accommodate.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables fast and efficient cooling of recently loaded products.
