FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed are method of making supporting substrate (14) and display devices based on LED. Supporting substrate (14) is made of carbon fibre. Manufacturing method of supporting substrate (14) comprises steps of: S1: preparation of fabric prepreg from carbon fibre; S2: preparation of plate supporting substrate (14); S3: preliminary formation; and S4: moulding. Display device based on LED contains at least one cellular display screen (1) based on led and cellular display screen (1) on basis of the LED has supporting substrate (14) made using said method. Cellular display screen (1) based on LED comprises led-based display module, supporting substrate (14), control panel and rear cover (16). Led-based display module comprises front protection (11), display panel (12) and rear panel (13). Supporting substrate (14) is located between LED-based display module and control panel to make sandwich structure; rear cover (16) is connected to the supporting substrate (14) retainers; and adjacent cellular display screens (1) based on LED are assembled using connecting bases (142) and mounting pins (143) located in four corners of supporting substrate (14).

EFFECT: LED-based display device has simple design, easy and thin, has higher bearing capacity, ease of installation and has low cost of transportation.
