FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and can be used in designing small-size widely tunable antenna devices for communication equipment and data transmission in MW and SW frequency bands. Antenna has first (1) and second (2) aligned current-conducting cylinders, inductance coil (4), as well as N of switches (5) and N of additional cylinders (3), aligned with first (1) and second (2) current-conducting cylinders, connected in such a way that together they form an oscillatory circuit tuned to the frequency of transmitted or received signal. First output of inductance coil (4) is connected to first cylinder (1), second output of inductance coil (4) is connected to central conductor (6) of feeder line (7) feeding the antenna, while feeder line (7) braid is connected to second cylinder (2). Second cylinder (2) is arranged between first cylinder (1) and inductance coil (4). Additional cylinders (3), all together or in a certain combination, each through its own switch of the N switches (5) may have electrical connection with second cylinder (2), thereby increasing the length of second cylinder (2).

EFFECT: increased tunability of the antenna resonance frequency while maintaining efficiency, which enables to provide reliable communication within MW and SW frequency bands for mobile and stationary subscribers.
