FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acceleration equipment engineering and can be used to simulate micrometeorites and manmade particles. Device for investigation of physical phenomena in high-speed impact consists of acceleration path, containing injector, induction sensors, linear accelerator, target, according to invention acceleration path includes coaxially located quadrupole installed after induction sensors, and unit for discharge of particles, grounding grid, located at inlet and outlet of discharge unit of particles after linear accelerator, ion receiver arranged ahead of target, further includes second accelerating channel located at angle from 1° to 10° to first acceleration path consisting of injector, induction sensors, linear accelerator, target, quadruple, unit for discharge of particles, grounding grid, receiver of ions, as well as device further includes measuring unit connected with unit of transducers, receivers of ions of both amplifier channels and data collection unit, as well as inserted unit of control signals, connected with induction sensors, quadruples, linear accelerator, discharge units of particles of both reinforcing paths and data collection unit.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities owing to study physical effects at opposite collision of high-speed particles.
