FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic device for steam preparation, which comprises housing and evaporator, wherein housing includes power supply element and processor, evaporator is connected to housing with possibility of disconnection, wherein processor is configured to change over to sleep mode, if evaporator is connected to housing and device is not activated during downtime, and can change over from sleep mode to mode of usage, if evaporator is disconnected from housing and again connected to housing.
EFFECT: technical result consists in preventing accidental device transition to operating mode.
