SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic device for steam generation, which includes a battery unit and an evaporator, the unit comprises power source and a computer, an evaporator is connected to the battery with the possibility of disconnection, a computer has a processor and memory and is made with possibility of detection, is connected to the evaporator to the battery without using a consumer electronic device for steam generation, and, in fact, in standby mode until the evaporator is connected with battery unit, and the computer is configured with option to exit standby mode after preset idle time for determining whether the evaporator is connected to the battery unit or not, and returning to standby mode, if the evaporator is not connected to the battery.
EFFECT: enabling selection of device configuration.
