SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a roller for aerial ropeways. Roller used in aerial ropeways has an inner cylindrical tubular part (31) located radially, two ring-shaped supports (32) located radially outside the tubular part and located at axial distance from each other and the (32) body of the roller (33) located radially outside the ring-shaped supports, the body is made with one rotating ring (34) and two side disks (36) located at its sides. Roller (3, 3a) has a ring-shaped electric generator (4), which is located inside the roller surrounded by the body (33) and both ring-shaped supports (32) of the hollow space (30).
EFFECT: generator is protected from harmful effects, particularly against penetration of moisture and water.
