FIELD: ceramic industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of silicates and ceramic mixtures for making brick. Ceramic mixture for making bricks contains, wt%: high-melting clay 83.8-87.8; quartzite 6.0-8.0; glycerine 0.05-0.15; talc 6.0-8.0; chalk 0.05-0.15. Bricks are formed by plastic method, dried to the moisture content of not more than 6 % and annealed at a the temperature of 1,200-1,300 °C.

EFFECT: technical result is improved moulding properties of ceramic mixture, higher frost resistance of bricks.
