FIELD: ceramic industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of silicates and ceramic mixtures for making bricks. Ceramic mixture for making bricks contains, wt%: high-melting clay 75.8-79.8; quartzite 10.0-12.0; 3 % aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide 0.1-0.2; talc 12.0-14.0. Mixture is wetted to 18-23 %, added with 3 % aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution and mixed again. Bricks are formed by plastic method, dried to the moisture of not more than 6% and annealed at the temperature of 1,200-1,300 °C.

EFFECT: technical result is improved moulding properties of the mixture for making bricks, higher frost resistance of bricks.
