FIELD: pipes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pipes in hot state on mandrel. Mandrel consists of parts, which can be connected to each other and disconnected from each other, and of connecting element which connects parts of mandrel by magnetic force. Increased service life and simplified maintenance of mandrel is ensured due to that one of two interconnected parts of mandrel has bar section extending in axial direction of mandrel, and other one has intake hole extending along mandrel axis, wherein bar section is inserted.
EFFECT: connecting element is permanent magnet, connected to at least one of bar section and intake hole.
