FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to agriculture. Method of processing household organic waste consists in using earthworms with help of vermicomposter, wherein organic wastes are successively loaded into separate sections of vermicomposter and maintained for three months, after which inert filler is loaded into vermicomposter, which is placed in vermicomposter central part, and after fermentation of organic wastes in first loaded section process earthworms are introduced and enable them with possibility of successive migration via perforated walls and inert filler in following sections, then compost processed by earthworms in first section is unloaded, and section is back for repeated filling, afterwards second section, etc. until complete processing of domestic organic wastes. Disclosed is device for implementing method of processing of domestic organic wastes.
EFFECT: simplified method, providing complete processing of organic wastes, reducing power consumption.
