FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in processing various organic wastes, including manure and droppings, into high-quality biologically active organic fertilizer. Method of producing biologically active biohumus involves fermentation of organic wastes and vermicomposting of the fermented product. Fermentation is carried out by introducing saprophytic bacteria under aerobic conditions at temperature not higher than 50 °C. After passing through the thermophilic phase, liquid nettle wash prepared with addition of liquid biohumus in an anaerobic medium is added to the prepared substrate. After 72 hours, the ready substrate is subjected to vermicomposting with earthworms to obtain biologically active biohumus.
EFFECT: improved quality of the ready product with simultaneous more accelerated growth of the worm population.
