FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ceramic composites with zero coefficient of thermal linear expansion, meant for making, in particular, locking elements of oil-gas complex. Method of producing ceramic composite material involves preparation of powder mixture of zirconium oxide and/or aluminium oxide, with nanostructure zirconium tungstate in the following proportions, wt%: zirconium tungstate 5-15, zirconium oxide and/or aluminium oxide - the rest, piece moulding and sintering. Sintering is carried out at the temperature of 1,350-1,550 °C, then further tempering is performed at the temperature of 1,175-1,200 °C, with further cooling at a rate of 200-250 °C/sec. Zirconium dioxide stabilised 3-5 wt% Y2O3, containing monoclinic phase ZrO2 of not more than 10 % is used for preparing powder mixture. Formed workpiece is carried out by cold or hot pressing.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is obtaining ceramic composite with zero coefficient of thermal linear expansion (CTLE) and improved physical and mechanical properties.
