FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular, to production of gradient ceramic zirconium-based materials. Fine powder consisting of solid ZrO2-based solutions with components dissolved therein and selected form the group of tetragonal-phase stabiliser oxides is subjected to compaction at 550-800 MPa and sintering at 1500-1700°C with maturing for 1-5 h.
EFFECT: higher resistance to thermal effects.
